Table 2 shows that the mean of variables (males and female) as 89.21 and 87.03 respectively. The value of t-calculated (0.923) and t-critical as (1.984). This therefore evidently shows that t-calculated is less than t-table value. This hypothesis is then accepted at 0.05 level of significance. Therefore there is no significant difference in the determinants of study habits as influence on academic performance of male and female undergraduates.
