Variability of climate affect to social Thailand especially the variability of rainfall, which there is important to agriculture and water resources. In the past, There had studied the variability of rainfall in Thailand since forty years ago.[1] Which, it has important with the oceanographic and Atmospheric include El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) and Indian Ocean Dipole. However, the variability of climate occurs from several reasons. Thailand is located on the Indochinese peninsula in Southeast Asia (97°E-107°E, 5°N-21°N). It connects both sides of the ocean, including the Gulf of Thailand and South China Sea, which is part of the Pacific Ocean. In addition, the Andaman Sea is part of the Indian Ocean. So the variability of oceanography in the Pacific and Indian Ocean would influence, both directly and indirectly to the variance of the climate in Thailand. Such, Thailand is also influenced by ENSO which is characterized as an oscillatory mode of the anomalous sea surface temperature (SST) in the Pacific Ocean.[2]
