In conclusion, a proper level of dietary lipid (8.52%–11.63%) could
maintain solid growth performance and antioxidant capacity of mud
crabs. In particular, dietary lipid of about 9.5% was possibly the optimal
requirement for juvenile S. paramamosain. The resultswill be helpful for
the formulation of pelleted diets for mud crab aquaculture, and further
studies concerning the relationships between lipid metabolismand regulation
mechanism of this species are needed.
