usinessman Brice Genin's heart belongs to Europe, but he can't seem to end his love affair with Asia. It's been over a decade since he completed business school in France and subsequently headed straight to Shanghai. His flight was driven by an unquenchable curiosity of emerging econ- omies and a desire to gain a first-hand look at developing markets. Ten years and two companies later, Genin returned home to France, but he couldn't keep his feet on the ground for long. He soon took on the role of Asian export director for the century-old home fragrance company Lampe Berger. He toured Asia twice for the company lastyear, stopping in Thailand both times to bring his expertise to the market. Genin is a simple man in style, manner and scent.
