Working in pricing team, you will provide strategic direction for products along with involved in many initiative thought on how to drive the growth in company using variety parameters such as acquisition, retention and commission etc. This role also involve in some initiative for innovation products and ideas. Think beyond the current situation and come up with optimum price for maintain the company revenue.
Problem-solving skills, analytical horsepower, be able to work under pressure is a must to be a part of pricing team.
Principal Accountabilities
Pricing Strategy: make and drive recommendations to executive leadership on pricing strategies, portfolio vision and communicate pricing strategy, structure, policies and processes to organization.
Pricing Project Management : manage pricing projects, such as Pricing Strategy update, pricing tool implementation, by involving stakeholders and manage resources cross-functionally.
Pricing Analysis : have an ability to do any analytic works such as deep-dive on Telecom trend and market force, analysis on any pricing related issue, price positioning, develop pricing related unique selling point in market.
Tactical Pricing: be able to provide the tactical move to compete with competitors in market, understand how to implement conceptual pricing to execution in terms of offers, promotion and usage.
Pricing for new product: define the pricing requirements, business frameworks by working collaboratively with new product development teams. Model pricing structure and profitability expectations of new product launches.
Pricing for monitoring: Identify and resolve complex business issues in customer acquisition, retention, and revenue enhancement that are critical to meeting targets and KPIs.
Post campaign analysis : provide information regarding revenue factors and usage analytic for any campaign launched
Finance and modeling: develop business case and financial modelling with support from finance team to evaluate the revenue impact.
Handset Pricing: determine and manage the handset ROI tool, provide both strategic approach for handset bundle offering and recommendation for handset financing by using tariff performance and customer lifetime value.
Qualifications
Experience in Telecom Industry, related industry (internet, OTT player)
Capable to do data driven analysis and have holistic view on pricing especially tariff and handset offers in Thai market
Experience in Project management in a resource constrained environment
Ability to translate customer needs and insights into actionable Pricing strategies, portfolios vision, price plans and business levers in general
Excellent problem solving, business communication, and organizational influence skills, and experience working in cross-functional teams
Strong analytical skills to understand market movements, pricing, and overall financial levers/analysis
Bachelor’s degree in science or analytical majors
Quick learner with can-do attitude
Proficient in financial analytics, strategic frameworks, and competitive analysis
Previous experience managing Telecom marketing/pricing function preferred
