Hello. I am writing to complain about a recent experience with Dominos Loughborough. We ordered a pizza last night following a late shift at work. We had requested bbq sauce stating that we didn't want Dominos own sauce, the pizza arrived with Dominos own sauce and rather than a garlic and herb dip there was a bbq dip. I prompty rang Dominos to correct the order and fully appreciate human error and these things happen. My call was answered by the manager and I explained the issue, his response to this was "we've had this issue with you before" I explained what I had ordered and this is not what had arrived, his attitude was appalling, he was abrupt and spoke over me whilst I was trying to explain myself - I explained that I had previously spoken to him and felt that he'd never dealt with our complaints professionally and he asked me if I knew who he was in which I replied he was the store manager which he denied. He left me on the call whilst what sounding like shouting at the gentleman that took the order who then came onto the phone, which felt like a ploy for me to vent my frustration at the individual. My annoyance was never towards the order being incorrect, it was towards how my complaint was dealt with. The gentleman that came onto the phone (who I initially placed my order with) was polite, apologetic and clearly concerned towards the mix up. I asked if the previous person I had spoken to was the manager, to which he replied yes. I asked the gentleman to put me back onto his manager who reluctantly confirmed his name was 'Mohan' I asked if the calls to Dominos were recorded which he confirmed they were, once again he was rude, defensive and unprofessional. I explained as somebody that works in customer services, it was wrong of him to lie and shout at fellow employees infont of customers and once again I heard him speaking to the member of staff that had taken the order and once again putting him back on the phone. We spoke to this particular individual who had been nothing but courteous and said that his manager wanted to speak to me again. Mohan came back on the phone and said he looked over our account to see that we had been nothing but good customers and that he would replace the order for pizzas, he continued to tell me about how people try to get a free pizza, once again being unprofessional. I asked if I could end the phone call go eat the starters that were now cold and he continued to talk. Again I said that I was going to end the call to eat my starters and he said he would replace the whole meal at the time of 1am in the morning, by the time the pizza arrived it was roughly 1.30am. The driver was apologetic even though it was no fault of his own. We were that frustrated due to the problems that we barely touched the food, leaving most of it. I would like a full refund for my order and would like to know how you employ somebody as a manager. Our dealings with the telephone staff and delivery staff have always been more Professional than the dealings with the manager. This isn't the first time that we have had issues with him, who has threatened to take money out of our bank account if we do not show our 50% off voucher which is a matter of fraud and data protection. The manager clearly needs training in customer services and the law. I would like to know your thoughts and as customers that order from Dominos at least twice a week, how you intend on redeeming this matter. Regards, Ben.
