Officially, Buffalo does not support data recovery and we recommend user contact 3rd party data recovery services to do so.
Unofficially, CS Global offer a recovery option at users own risk. Buffalo is not responsible for any data loss in case user unable to recover data using this option.
1- please instruct the user to check disk status using if failed or broken
you can use crystal Info utility - attach disk to PC
*If user can get system logs and post it here I can check Disk Status.*
2- if disk is healthy you may try the option (Method B) out lined in the attached PDF .
