At least in the States, you wouldn't walk into an interview and start a monologue. A simple, "Hello, I'm Steve." (where you say your first name in place of "Steve") is what I would do. Maybe add a "How are you doing today?"
In theory, if you've made it to the interview, you are qualified for the job. It's just a matter of personality/culture fit and picking the best candidate at that point. Especially as an undergraduate interviewing for internships. No one gives business-critical tasks to interns. They hope that they will add something of value, but aren't expecting it if they know anything. Just try to come across as an enthusiastic smart young person, everyone loves enthusiastic young smart people :)
That said, still prepare. Be ready to talk -- with passion -- about anything on your resume, even if it was years ago. Look up the company, know what they do and anything they were in the news for recently. Google common interview questions (both in general and in your field). Since you are asking about English, I'm assuming you're interviewing in an English speaking country, but didn't grow up in one. Have something interesting to say about your home country ready in case you are asked, that will help you be remembered.
Good luck!
