In addition, many types of materials will lose their superhydrophobicity after exposing to ultraviolet irradiation [39]. More seriously, the superhydrophobic surfaces will convert into hydrophilic surfaces after exposure to ultraviolet irradiation [40]. Therefore, the inves- tigation of durability to ultraviolet irradiation is very important. In this study, the as-prepared textiles are placed under ultraviolet lamp to be irradiated for several days. As a result, the water contact angle has no obvious decrease and the separation efficiency is still very high (>93%) (Fig. 10a and b), which shows that the textile has a certain resistance to ultraviolet rays and can be used under solar radiation.
