However, LCA methodology accounts for the end of life phase (i.e. dismantling of the hotel building and the possibilities of recovering or recyclingmaterials); and also allows for the definition of end-of-life scenarios that can be useful for comparing different possibilities (e.g. landfilldisposal, incineration or recycle) or, what is more interesting, to model a combination of different solutions that take into account
the real possibilities within a considered context (e.g. ratio of materials that can be recycled at a reasonable cost, capacity of the waste management and recycling system in the area of study etc.).
