ABSTRACT
The aim of the present study is comparison of physiological skills of elite men karate athletes. Statically population
is all athletes attendant in national team of Iran which is in the fitness camping for dispatch to Asian competition in
China 2011. This team contains of 48 people in six weights with mean age 23.6 ± 3.7 years, weight 72.7 ± 8.7 kg,
176.7 ± 5.4 cm, and the sport experience 10.3 ± 2.5 years, participated in this study. The required information was
collected through a questionnaire developed by the Southern Australia Sport Institute (SASI) in two stages (first
stage national team camping and in the middle of camping). Data were analyzed by the descriptive and inferential
(T-test) methods. The result of comparison of psychological skills variables average showed that there were
significant difference between two stages in concentration, self-confidence and imagery variables (first stage
