Like most controlled user-based studies,
this one had many limitations that restrict the generality of our findings:
although we tested quite a complex city layout,
we still managed to test only a small sample of all possible city topography types;
furthermore, the study was performed on only one screen size and our task did not require the subjects to interact in a real world setting.
Nevertheless, this study clearly allows us to better understand how users tend to navigate under different interaction paradigms.
