Hi students,
To speak and write English in the right tense is VERY important to get good points.
I will use the word to EAT.
Present tense of that word is "eat"
Past tense is "ate"
Future tense is "will eat" or "I am going to eat"
These are the three most important tenses in the English language.
Examples:
I eat dinner every day (present tense)
I ate dinner yesterday/5 minutes ago/100 years ago. Everything that has already appened
I will eat dinner in 2 minutes/in one week/in 100years. Everything that has NOT happened already.
There is also one more important tense: Present participle
In Thai language I think this is "gamlang".
This tense is used for everything you do NOW - not something in the past, and not somwthing in the future.
Example:
I am DRINKING B- 52 NOW
I am eating NOW
I am writing to you NOW
I am watching TV NOW
That was today's lesson from teacher in Pattaya. Hope you understand something !!
If not, you can ask me again.
Maybe next "homework" will be about this ?? Don't be scared.
