A month after my return the whole institute shifted to new premises near the Kabar Aye Pagoda. Our new quarters were bigger and better and the grounds were more spacious. There were also fields for cultivation attached to the School. Here we were taught trades such as tailoring and hairdressing. A few students were taught automobile repair and maintenance. Pupils in the fifth and sixth grades who showed scholastic promise were permitted to attend school outside the institution. The number of deliquent boys in the Reformatory was also increased.
