Role Hierarchy miner is a part of the “ProM” process mining tool. The main objective of Role Hierarchy Miner is to define roles by duty of sharing work vertically or by the command to confirm and control whether the operating staff in lower sections of the work have accurate tasks with proper resources compatible with the main goals, visions and strategies of the organization.
Role Hierarchy mining may be useful in finding new opportunities (new channels/positions) for some staff/personnel who previously were used to work in routine sections with limited tasks and duties. Role Hierarchy Miner technique is more suitable for dealing with large structured types of data sets.
