canning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-Ray (EDX) techniques were used to analyze bottom and top inner surface of the pipe, using FEI Quanta 200 scanning electron microscope, Fig. 4a and b shows topography and elemental compositions of the deposit formed on the bottom surface of the pipe, contains high amount of calcium and oxygen. Significant concentrations of Chloride ions (2.19 and 4.19 wt.%) were accumulated at the two areas within the corrosion product from bottom inner surface of the pipe is shown in Fig. 4c.
