In UHF TV systems usage of a band-pass filter with corresponding channel bandwidth and power is requested, depend on a power of an output amplifier. This filter design based on a low-pass filter prototype, from which desired type of a filter is developed. In the presented paper a model of two-resonator mechanically tuned TEM-mode filter is introduced for calculation of coupling inductance value between resonators. The adopted coupler implements coupling loop between two resonators instead of coupler’s irises. This circumstance does not only make the tuning of the bandwidth easier, but also leads to reduction of the cost. This project aims to calculate the values of coupling inductance between resonators by using of equivalent circuit model to design UHF filter easier.
