A reader asked about how to go about buying from iHerb.com recently. After replying in a long email, I decided to re-organise what I’ve written, add some money-saving tips, and post the steps here for those who are new to the online store.
If you are unfamiliar with iHerb.com, it is an online shopping site that sells a wide range of healthcare/sports supplements, beauty/bath products, and even groceries, baby care products and pet foods and supplements. The online store has been voted as the top online supplement retailer in surveys conducted by ConsumerLab.com in the last five years (2008 to 2012).
Unlike other U.S. online supplement stores, iHerb.com ships to many countries outside of the US, and at a very affordable rate to boot (as low as $4!).
Shipping within the U.S. is also very competitive. Delivery is free for orders above $40, or for a flat fee of $4 for orders below that.
I’ve lost count how many times I have shopped at iHerb.com, and each time my order arrived in good condition.
