In this research was to study the factors effecting, the aging time of resorcinal formaldehyde gel and properties of resorcinal formaldehyde fiber formation via electrospinning process. In researching, was varied factors such as the type of catalyst, temperature for aging resorcinal formaldehyde gel, molar ratio of resorcinal to catalyst (R/C molar ratio), and molar ratio of resorcinal to water (R/W molar ratio). And fixed molar ratio of resorcinal formaldehyde (R/F molar ratio) at 0.5. The resorcinal formaldehyde gel were successfully synthesized using a sol-gel method at R/C molar ratios between 500 and 2000 and R/W molar ratios between 2 and without added water aging with catalyst (Na2CO3, NaHCO3, K2CO3, and KHCO3)
