The text we were asked to learn was from Macbeth -- "Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow [...] full of sound and fury, signifying nothing" -- and recite it as one unit while holding each of the three basic positions in Sitting Statues. Later, the voice was added to other difficult positions. Breathing was done together as a group at fixed points at the end of sentences, and the trainees were divided into italian and English speakers to clarify this. This use of the voice was added halfway through the workshop.
