Ten representative fruit were sampled on 9 Nov. 2007 (26 DAFB) and again on 14 Apr. 2008 (177 DAFB) (commercial harvest) from each position on each of the 20 selected trees. Hence, a total of 50 fruit per tree were sampled on each date. Lightness was measured on the visually greenest side of fruit harvested on 9 Nov. and the whole fruit was peeled for chlorophyll analysis. Green color intensity, red blush and sunburn incidence, chlorophyll concentration, and lightness values for both sides of the fruit were determined for fruit harvested at maturity.
