“We’ve already had requests for follow-up, so I encourage parents or students interested in US education to contact IC-ACE for the next good opportunity to meet US college admissions directors in October and November,” was the advice from Dr. Busabong Jamroendararasame, Director of CMU International Center. “There isn’t a better time than now to consider studying in America. Between the AUA Library, IC-ACE, and CMU Library’s American Corner, there are many resources for local students to understand what the US has to offer,” added AUA Director, John Gunther. AUA is a non-profit, Thai educational institute established in Chiang Mai in 1957, and dedicated to serving the needs of students who are interested in studying in the United States through language classes in Thai and English and a variety of cultural events.
Recently appointed a member of the U.S. State Department’s global network of EducationUSA Advising Centers, IC-ACE is the North American educational advising division of Chiang Mai University’s International Center (off Nimmanhaemin Road). Free educational counseling and related services are available in the Center.
