2. Refer to attached Flow Chart.
3. Refer to attached Maintenance Request From.
4. Refer to copy of Work Request Board.
5. Assignment of work requests will be done by the
Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer or Duty
Engineer only.
6. All requests placed on the urgent hook will be
attended to within 10 minutes.
7. All backlog and waiting parts are to be completed
before assignment.
8. When removing a request from the Board, check if
there are any others in the same area and do these
at the same time to save two trips.
9. All uncompleted work request will be returned to
the back log hook every day.
10. All completed work request will be returned to thecomplete hook every day.
11. All sections of the buff copy will be completed by
maintenance associate i.e. name (next to completed
by) time spent (on that individual job including
travel),date completed (date job was finished)
Remarks (anything relevant, What you did to repair,
parts used, incorrect complaint etc). If the request
was for a room, the back of the buff copy is also to
be completed, making sure all is O.K, if there are
remarks written, indicate this on the front side with
P.T.O.
12. The maintenance request buff copy is to be
taken to the job, this is your security pass to enter
the area, ensure it is with you.
13. All tickets put on the awaiting parts hook are to
have what parts and date ordered written on the buff
copy.
14. Awaiting parts and backlog will be checked every
day by the Duty engineer, who will chase up outstanding items.
