Welcome. Thank you for signing up for this course about Clinical Kidney Transplantation, which will start on 25 January. The course will be taught by our multidisciplinary team of transplant professionals and will give you the state of the art updates on clinical kidney, pancreas and islet transplantation.

The course includes 4 modules: 1) before transplantation, 2) the challenged patient and the procedure, 3) early challenges and 4) late challenges after transplantation.The offered modules will include lectures, interactive patient cases, quizzes, interviews with well-known experts in the field, and serious games to increase knowledge of the field. We have unique 3D animations of a kidney, pancreas and islet transplantation as well as the different aspects of the immune system including immune suppression and cell therapy to help you in understanding the concepts.
The impact of the transplant process for the patient and the kidney donor will become clear through interviews with patients.If you wish to obtain advanced knowledge on transplantation, each module offers in-depth insight into specialist subjects with extra assignments.You can find each other on the discussion fora where you can discuss about various interesting challenges including patient cases.
