All day on christmas Eve, I am EXTREMELY excited! I am either in my room or the living room watching all of the Christmas specials on TV and the ones I have on DVD. All day long I will be watching movies. That night, after being prodded all day by me and my brother my mom usually lets us open 1 gift. Since this year my brother won't be here on Christmas my "sister" and I might just have to be the ones asking all day. After we open the 1 gift, if even do that year everyone goes to bed. I can never sleep and don't even try to any more. Now that im not a little kid my mom doesn't check on me anymore during the night so I work on my special Christmas project which has ot be finished that night before anyone else wakes up. Last year I made a giant reindeer sculpture out of the inside of the rolls of wrapping paper. At about midnight I go to the living room to see if the stockings are full and if there are more gifts. From my room I can always hear if someone is up so I have never run into my mom thankfully. After the stocking are filled and my project is done I move my project beside the tree so everyone can see it. It is very hard for me not to look in my stocking while taking out my project but so far I have resisted looking in it before everyone else is there. I stay up all night and morning watching Christmas specials. On Christmas Eve and day they are always on you just have to look for them sometimes. Then I come out of my room at about 5 and make myself my Christmas hot coco, turn on the TV and watch it out there and wake my mom and siblings up (its usually about 5-7) We all open our stockings, even my pets have their own stockings. My dogs all know the drill and are as excited as I am. We put their stocking in the middle of the room and they open it themselves. They haven't ever ripped the stocking, and they always bring the packages which are usually toys or treats to us so we can open them. They are really well behaved on Christmas. Then my cats open theirs, they still are kinda confused about the whole stocking thing until we pull out 1 or 2 things. Then they all go crazy. We open my pet ferrets stocking for them but put the treats by their hammock so they see it when they wake up. Then we eat breakfast unless me and my mom make monkey bread then we eat that while opening gifts. We all alternate usually. Most years me or 1 of my siblings hands out the gifts. I usually ask my mom and siblings to open the gifts I got or made for them first. When we are done opening gifts we all take our stuff to our bedrooms then come help mom clean up all of the wrapping paper. Then we all scatter and play with our stuff for about an hour. Then we all end up in the kitchen, which was never planned it just always happens. We talk for a couple hours while drinking coffee or something. Then we eat dinner and go to bed. That's a general idea of how my Christmas goes
