Globalization Cannot Be Reversed
The future belongs to globalization. The process of globalization has moved too far to be stopped.
Transnational corporations moved to quickly and gained enormous control. Governments were slow in reacting and lost power, as a result. It is almost impossible now for governments to create laws and policies to control corporations. Anyone in government that tries to control corporations will be met with fierce resistance.

It was once the case that extreme right-wing politicians coming to power (like, Jorge Haider in Austria, Jean Le Pen in France, and Pauline Hanson in Australia) could create effective nationalist laws that were popular with the people. Now, corporations will influence members of parliament or congress and control the messages sent by the news media. In our globalized world, politicians are no match for the power and reach of transnational corporations.
