Future house is an electronic music genre that emerged in the 2010s, described as a fusion between deep house and EDM.[1][2] According to French producer Tchami, the label was originally invented by himself in 2013 saying, it was just what he was tagging his tracks on Soundcloud as. "I don't know what Future House is. It's whatever you create that doesn't exist before you created it. Didn't mean to confuse anybody, but a lot of people asked me how to do future house." As fans and other the media adapted to the term, in an earnest sense, future house was legitimized. Oliver Heldens, who scored international chart successes with 'Gecko (Overdrive)' and 'Last All Night (Koala)', is considered to be another prominent producer and DJ within the genre
