Ozone treatment demonstrates tremendous applicability in the
control and prevention of aesthetic pollution, particularly in the
decolorization of textile dye wastewaters. Overall, optimal dye
wastewater treatment results should exhibit the greatest degree
of color removal with the least toxic end product. By analyzing
trends in toxicity before, during, and after dye wastewater
ozonation, the usefulness of this pollution prevention technique
can be better evaluated for future use in industry
