Job Summary
The iOS BDM will work closely with both end users and Carrier sales staff to drive adoption of the iOS platform in Business, Enterprise and Government customers. He/she will work with Apple customers, carrier partners, and internal sales resources to drive Apple's iPhone products into these customer sets.

Description
The candidate will be responsible for developing mutually profitable customer relationships at many levels within the account base and requires exceptional sales, consulting and communication skills as well as the ability to work with developers and solutions providers. The role will need to build strong relationships with the carrier’s enterprise sales force, using training, tools and incentives, so that they sell Apple’s iOS platform vs the competitors. Major Functional Areas: 1) Carrier Relations - Work closely with the carrier Sales Managers, Mobile Specialists and Account Executives to deliver Apple’s mobility pitch to both internal carrier teams and their customers. The successful applicant will become the Apple point of reference for all matters relating to business sales within that carrier. 2) End Customer Sales - This role is also responsible for developing new business within customers from the business, enterprise and government market segments. The successful applicant will be expected to successfully position Apple’s mobility solution to new customers to the Apple platform. This position will take the role of being the initial contact from Apple, positioning Apple and its solutions to the highest level of different organisations. Main Responsibilities: Develop and nurture customers interested in Apple’s mobility solutions. Achieve and maintain an agreed sales target based on Apple’s mobility solutions. Maximise selling opportunities through the development of relationships at all levels with the carriers’ sales teams. Improve carrier sales staff product knowledge through joint visits, thereby enabling the sales staff to deliver appropriate messaging that emphasize Apple’s competitive advantage and allows staff to deal with objections at time of meeting. Present to small and large customer bases on Apple’s products and positioning. Work with customers and their carrier to deliver the most appropriate solution for their needs and method for deployment of that solution.
Education
Relevant tertiary education and industry qualifications would be beneficial.
