(Phaseolus lunatus) and potato plants is known to mediate the attraction of predator mites and potato beetle (Qualley and Dudareva
2008). In other cases aromatic compounds such as methyl
salicylate attracts mites in a dose-dependent manner, but at hight
amounts repels the predators (De Boer and Dicke, 2004).
