This study was carried out to determine and compare the phytochemical content in kaffir lime leares (C. histrix) extracts. The extracts from kaffir lime leares of samples were prepared and the phytochemicals screening was done to determine the presence of phenolic, flavanoid, tannin and saponin content. All the kaffir lime leares (C. histrix) indicate the presence of phenolic, flavanoid, tannin and saponin. The phytochemical contents that were analysed are total phenolic content, total flavanoid content, total tannin content and total saponin content. In the total phenolic content, it was found the that highest in the kaffir lime leares with 52.28 ± 6.02 mg GAE/100g. In total flavanoid content, of kaffir lime leares was found to be highest with 30.13 ± 0.54 mg RE/100g and 12.93 ± 0.13 mg RE/ 100g for the kaffir lime leares. The highest total of saponin content was found in the kaffir lime leares with, 93.31 ± 0.92 mg/100g .
