The Doctor gave Michael another MRI today. The Frontal Lobe is the main point of study, as it displays the most activity, but no significant damage has been done. This makes sense as the Frontal Lobe part of the brain is in charge of environmental response, emotional response, judgments, etc. The Temporal Lobes appear to have been slightly damaged in the auto accident, which may have caused his short-term memory loss. My job here is to help him remember.
Michael doesn't remember much. "My memory's a bit foggy today" he keeps saying, as if it were the first time I heard it. Perhaps he doesn't remember our conversations?
He remembers her smile -- his wife. She was in the car with him, but the Doctor's won't release her status. This is eating away at Michael. His one and only love is his wife; this woman who succeeds where the rest of society fails: earning Michael's respect. I would like to meet this woman.
