The concept of human resources is not new. Peter Drucker in his book "The Practice of
Management" underpinned the three functions of management: the achievement of economic
performance, the leading of managers and the management of workers and labor.
Human resources can be defined as one of the most important investments an organization
can make whose results become more evident over time. It can be said that human resources
are the organization itself.
