RESULTS
Participants
Male and female college students (n = 358) were enrolled
in the intervention program. Data from 22 students in the
on-campus course and from 16 students in the online course
were excluded in the analyses because the students dropped
the course before the study (and course) began and did not
provide either pretest or posttest data. Additionally, 8 participants
were not included in the analyses because these
participants did not provide a posttest survey. Therefore, 312
students provided matching pre- and postsurveys and were
included in the analyses. The demographic characteristics of
the participants are shown in Table 1.
