If the switchgrass yield is doubled in each field of F1–F10 and the
stalk and straw yields remain the same, the total biomass yield increases
to 3,700,000 dry tons/year, which is greater than the total
production capacity of the two biorefineries (2,880,000 dry tons/
year). Under this configuration, the two biorefineries operate at
their full capacities over the year due to the sufficient biomass supply.
