3.3. Cl− and K+ concentrations
In contrast to the Na+ concentrations, the Cl− concentrations
were generally quite similar among the six kinds of plants under
treatment with 91 mM NaCl (Table 3 and Fig. 3). The plants with
pumpkin root showed consistently lower K+ concentrations in the
root, but higher K+ concentrations in the shoot compared with the
plants with cucumber root under 91 mM NaCl (Fig. 4)
