hitosan is a cationic polysaccharide obtained by deacetylation of chitin, which is chiefly in the exoskeletons of crustaceans
[4,5]. Chitosan is of interest as valuable component for producing
biodegradable packaging film because of its antimicrobial properties and film-forming properties [6,7]. Chitosan films can be
prepared by solution casting methods. The films exhibit excellent barrier properties for food packaging applications [8].
