3.5. Body Condition Score (Exp. 2)
The BCSs of all the does were very low at the start of the study. However, the BCSs of both groups increased after the pelleted compound feed and soya waste supplementations during the experimental period, and the BCSs did not differ significantly (P > 0.05) between the treatments. The BCSs at the start of the experiment (1.6 vs. 1.6), at the time of the introduction of the bucks (1.8 vs. 1.8) and at 20 weeks of gestation (2.6 vs. 3.0) were similar in the pelleted compound feed and soya waste groups.
