Descriptives of Questionnaires and PainUS
Intensity Measures Supplementary Table 2 displays the descriptive statistics for the scores on the questionnaires and the
pain stimulus intensity measures (self-reported and measured in milliamperes). We did not observe a significant
relation between the TA or PA scores and these intensity measures (Supplementary Table 3).
However, we did find a significant negative correlation between TA and PA (r = .44, P < .001) on the
one hand, and a positive correlation between TA and negative affect (NA) (r = .73, P < .001) on the other
hand.
