Students Should Wear School Uniforms Students basically represent the school, and school uniforms provides an image for the school, helping others to be able to identify the school, and also contributes for basic discipline. The outside and what people wear isn't that important (clean, neat clothes give a nice image and that's all you need), yet many people, especially students, worry about their outside image and how people judge them by their outsides. At a school, they should be taught that the inside of one is more important than one's outside, and the fancy clothes isn't necessary. Also, even with basic dress codes, the clothes students wear may not be suitable for school purposes, like in P.E., they (mainly female students) would not be able to do much exercises. Other than P.E., students have to walk around and move (physical activities are needed for a student's health), so the clothes student choose may not be suitable, but school uniforms are designed for school. Many will say that clothes help students identify themselves, yet what's more important is the inside, and school uniforms help keep down the peer pressure, bullying, provides comfort, gives the school a neat, clean image, and helps perform basic discipline.
