The effect of inorganic salt presence (NaCl, Na2SO4, Na2CO3) on the reactive dyes adsorption on Amberlite IRA-900 was
investigated in the salt concentration range of 1–100 g/L at room temperature for 180min with a constant initial dye concentration of 200mg/L. Both C.I. Reactive Black 5 and C.I. Reactive Red 2 adsorption on the anion exchanger was not affected by the presence of inorganic salts even at rather high salt concentration of 100 g/L.
