For the ORAC, a 96-well plate
machine (KC4, Bio Tek, USA) was used in this research.
Reading value tended to be higher at the top than that at
the bottom and also from the left than the right of the 96-
well plates (data not shown). Prior et al. (2003) noted that a
lower coefficient of variance (CV) is obtained using the 48-
well format compared to the 96-well format.
