This paper aims to answer the question whether authentic materials could motivate advanced learners of English Syntax to participate in a classroom. Authentic materials are used to draw class attendance. As English Syntax is a hard subject, it is likely that the students of this subject miss the class. Consequently, many of them hardly pass the course successfully. Class attendance benefits class attendees and plays major part of students’ success of a course. The more they participate, the more they learn. To address this question, authentic materials are used and learners are required to add their own authentic materials of the same category.
