In today's Town Hall we launched the SAY NO to Corruption training.
The training consists of two elements: an online e-learning and team scenario training. Both are mandatory for everyone to complete.
The anti-corruption e-learning has been assigned to you in Telenor Campus today, and should be completed as soon as possible. This e-learning is new and focuses solely on anti-corruption.
The team scenario training will be conducted by your immediate manager. Your manager will before training you have been trained by his or her immediate manager. The purpose is to discuss different scenarios we may face, and gain better understanding of our anti-corruption policies and how to act in challenging situations.
I have kicked off the team training with my own team, the Group Executive Management, when we trained in Bangkok on October 13th. We had a great discussion and were able to together find right answers to the scenarios. The open discussion is the whole point of this training, and I encourage you to have a transparent dialogue with your manager and your team during this training.
Now you will do the same training as we did! Over the next few months you will be invited to a training with your team, and it is mandatory to participate. I ask all managers to prioritise the scenario training, and help your team in having a thorough discussion on the scenarios you choose. All detailed information for managers is available in Workday and at Telenor Campus, and each BU have a dedicated support team if you have questions.
Corruption is bad for societies and business. Telenor as a company is in business for the long term, and it is vital that we do business the right way. Failing to do so is not an option, and have potential consequences both on an individual, and company level. This is why it is important to me that all of you participate in these training sessions. We must all have the same understanding of how to act according to policies, so that we can feel secure that we are doing the right thing. Please remember to always speak to your manager when you are in doubt or faced with difficult situations, so you can get help in finding the right solution.
