As can be seen from the test results of the two modules, the
system can accurately list the permissions of all third-party
APPs and has a friendly user interfaces on the mobile phone
client. The feasibility is demonstrated. From the test of the
APP of "Legend of the stand-alone version", we can see that
there are low-level spelling errors by using decompilation
based permissions module which may lead to unexpected
problems to the software itself even if the APP is not
malicious software However, when using the
PackageManager based permissions module, we find that,
although the APP is stand-alone version, the APP applies for
many sensitive permissions, including accessing to the
network, reading the system logs, accessing geographical
position and etc, which it should not have. There fore, we
believe that, with the safety information provided by this
monitoring system, ordinary users can easily determine
whether the APP is malicious ads or cost-suction software,
and delete it.
