Exactly 5.0 g of strawberry pulp were homogenized with 10.0 mL extraction solvent (methanol acidulated with 0.20% HCl) and left in ultrasonic bath for 10 min at 20C. The mixture was centrifuged at 3500 rpm for 15 min at room temperature. The supernatant was collected and stored in amber bottle. The residue was re-submitted to extraction with another aliquot of 10.0 mL extraction solvent. This procedure was repeated four times and the supernatants were combined.
