In Olympic events, Koreans are the best in the world at Western-style archery. Archery is closely related to the right brain function of understanding things holistically with quick intuition instead of logic related to cause and effect. Koreans have active right brain activity from birth; hence they can shoot an arrow at a target very accurately. Koreans, the descendants of the Jumong people, have long had well-developed archery abilities; this can be attributed to the sensitive intuitive ability of the right brain.
In this way, Koreans are good at thinking intuitively, but poor at thinking logically. Because Koreans do not like order and regulation, they lack some rational aspects of thinking. Similarly, because Koreans do not often abide by rules of safety, choosing to do “as they feel," car accident rates, for example, are very high among Koreans. The atmosphere of doing things without thinking them through thoroughly due to optimism, which is another special characteristic of Koreans, has caused many shameful accidents. The structure of the Korean consciousness, with a well-developed right brain, is very different from that of the Japanese and Germans, which is very logical.
