Whole grain feeding in broiler diets is being increasingly accepted world-wide. Adverse effects of finely ground, pelleted diets on digestive tract development can be effectively overcome by whole grain feeding. Whole grains practice must be introduced early in life (prior to 7 days of age) with low inclusion levels and gradually increasing to a maximum.
