with CIRD that tested positive for CPIV, 14 (60.9%) had a history of
vaccination against CPIV.
When analysis was performed comparing the prevalence of positive
PCR test results for each pathogen among dogs living in private
households and dogs from an animal shelter or research kennel, significantly
more dogs from private households were PCR positive for
B. bronchiseptica (P < 0.001; Table 3).
