I'm enlisted looking to commission soon. I've got a few years in and considering taking it to 20. I have completed my graduate degree MBA, taken leave from my I/O Psychology PhD, and am considering taking time off of the military to finish a JD, PhD, or M.D. I'd probably go back to help my Joes because the civilian world is crazy.
I can't dance, but can sing. Grew up on the farm and in the city. I have all the man-skills from forging metal to flying planes to cooking. I can fix your car, computer, x-ray machine or whatever. Civil Air Patrol made me learn how to sew as a kid. Forget any preconceived notions about age, status, or whatever - I have been breaking the mold for some time on all of that; you probably have too if you read this far.
If you wonder why I've never been married but have a little girl just know I was honorable and asked but found out "Jody" had been there since before I left for boot and I didn't find out until after I got back from AIT. There's no drama just life.
